Need a new prescriber?

If you already take a GLP-1 and your prescriber has stopped, or you want to move, a Basal nurse practitioner can review your file. She decides whether to take over your prescription.

What she will ask you

• The medication and dose you take now.
• Who prescribed it, and when you last filled it.
• That you have stopped, or will stop, getting it from your other prescriber. One prescriber at a time keeps you from ever holding two prescriptions for the same drug.

Will I keep my dose?

Your nurse practitioner decides your dose after she reviews your file. Tell her the dose you take now and when you last took it.

What it costs

The same as for anyone: $29 a month for our first 100 patients, $45 a month after. You pay the pharmacy for the medication, at the pharmacy you choose.

How to start

Take the eligibility check. When it asks whether you take a GLP-1 now, answer yes.
